Chainstitch Process
Each piece is handmade stitch-by-stitch in my home studio in Denver, Colorado.
Join me as I create an iron-on patch from start to finish!
First, the machine must be optimized and configured by project. There's a lot of thread scribbling that goes on around here!
Then, I digitally prepare the design and get the template ready for stitching on felt backing.
Time to stitch!
Lastly, I finish off each patch, add an iron-on backing, and meticulously cut it out by hand.
But not without a lot of smiles and silliness!
And there you have it! A one-of-a-kind, handmade chainstitch patch!
